Many families may find themselves waiting anxiously for answers when loved ones have been involved in hit-and-run accidents. When these auto accidents leave individuals with fatal injuries, legal actions may take place. As a result, individuals likely hope that the drivers considered at fault in such incidents are quickly located so that proceedings may begin.

One family in Oklahoma may be considering its options after a recent fatal event. Reports stated that a 59-year-old woman was walking with her 1-year-old granddaughter when they were both struck by a vehicle. The incident occurred near the woman’s home, and they apparently were unaware of the vehicle before they were struck. It was noted that the driver of the vehicle did not remain on the scene and had struck two cars before hitting the pedestrians.

Both the grandmother and granddaughter suffered fatal injuries as a result of the incident. It was noted that while the driver left the scene on foot, two passengers remained behind and were also injured. They were taken to the hospital to be treated. At the time of the report, authorities were continuing the search for the driver.
