When a driver pulls into the path of another vehicle, it is likely that a collision will occur. When such crashes involve motorcycles, these motorcycle accidents could leave less-protected travelers with serious injuries with which they must contend. In many cases, those injuries could result in pain and suffering as well as financial difficulties that may warrant a civil claim against the driver considered at fault.

One man in Oklahoma may explore such an option after recently being involved in a crash. Reports stated that the 26-year-old man was riding his motorcycle north when a vehicle pulled out of a convenience store parking lot and into his path. As a result, the motorcyclist collided with the driver’s side of the car.

Though the man was wearing a helmet at the time, he still suffered critical injuries. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The driver of the car suffered minor injuries and was reported as being an 81-year-old woman. Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident to determine what may have contributed to the crash and whether charges may be necessary.
